1. He is not intellect as he claims or you believe. He may have his DBA, but could be bough online. His PhD is suspicious as he's never done solid and good enough original research and produced a thesis based on in, nor has he ever appeared before examining viva PhD committee. His *claimed* PhD is very doubtful.

2. His wife DR KHIN KHIN HTAY is daughter of ex-Brig.Gen. Win Tin (fired for corruption around 2001 as Minister of Posts & Telecommunications. Before he served as Minister of Finance & Revenue).

3. Khin Maung Lwin did served as Medical Officer in the Burmese Army before marrying Khin Khin Htay. However, he deserted and was on the run, and arrest warrant was issued, for his alleged involvement in terror activities and/or 88 uprising and the aftermaths that followed. He escaped arrest. How he escaped arrest is unclear.

4. He left the Army some time after and worked as demonstrator at Institute of Medicine 2 (now known as University of Medicine 2) where he met the General's daughter. He ran away with Khin Khin Htay. Brig.Gen. Win Tin & wife were not happy of the intended marriage of Khin Khin Htay and Khin Maung Lwin which is the main reason why they ran away. Khin Khin Htay is very smart. So she managed to raise some money via Brig.Gen. Win Tin, who in contrast to his wife, is relatively forgiving to his daughter. With this money from Win Tin (who in turned earned via corruptions, briberies and misappropriation of state funds), established FAME.

5. As part of Khin Khin Htay's master plan and attempt to have her husband Khin Maung Lwin accepted by her parents, she portrayed so hard to make him appear as highly intelligent academic and scientist (whereas he is not) and increased his role in public and media. In reality, Khin Maung Lwin's health talks are nothing more than popular science, his books are nothing more than translations of WIKIPEDIA. An educated person can easily see that. Khin Maung Lwin is not intellectual at all. He relies on his wife.

6. Khin Maung Lwin has one son and one daughter. The son is SOE HTET AUNG (aged about 17) and daughter is HTET HTET AUNG (aged about 18). The live (or lived) at

Soe Htet Aung is currently reading International Baccalaureate (IB). Htet Htet Aung read A-Levels at Headington Girls' School until 2010 and she did resitting of A-Levels at Oxford Tutorial College until around 2011. She has recently returned to Burma since her visa seems to have expired on 31st August 2011 and is currently attempting to apply for new visa. Khin Khin Htay and Soe Htet Aung are currently in the UK trying to help sort out Htet Htet Aung's visa issues.

7. They deposit large sums of illegally earned and/or smuggled money, most likely with HSBC. ---- HSBC

8. Dr. Khin Khin Htay is believed to suffer hypomania syndrome and/or bipolar II disorder.

In SUMMARY, Khin Maung Lwin is not an intellect but someone who is capable of running away with the General's daughter and use fancy words in health talks to create public impression. As you know, the general public of Burma has not much knowledge, let alone knowing he just simply copied and translated articles from Wikipedia.

FAME's products may not be in accordance with quality standards of Burma, let alone international standards. A few years ago, they had an issue with the Burmese government over quality and safety issues.
